Super great news!
We’re putting out a split single with our great friends The Chairman Dances next week. Killer.
Here’s the deal: Our mutual friend J. Randolph Brown at Steady State Productions made a short film called “Jacob’s Ladder.” Brown directed our music videos for “I Never Saw You Kiss Him” and “Creepy” as well as the video for The Chairman Dances’ “A Voice In The Night.”
He asked both bands to contribute brand new tracks for inclusion in the film. Therefore, we’re proud to present to you: “Set Sail.”
The track’s got lots of cool stuff – some New Pornographers, some Explosions in the Sky, some super high harmonies, a dual guitar solo and many, many layers. Fantastic.
The split single will be available on CD and for digital download next Tuesday, Oct. 23.
BUT! We’re playing at the official Philly premiere of Brown’s “Jacob’s Ladder” this Sunday, Oct. 21. The Chairman Dances play a set, we play a set and then the movie is shown. If you come to the the event, you get the split single for FREE. Yessir. Your life will be better off for supporting local art or some such stuff.
So, in conclusion:
- Enjoy our new song “Set Sail” because it is streaming for free
- Think about coming to our set at the Philly premiere on Sunday to get a free copy of the split single because free things are great
- If you can’t do that, check back next week for a link to buy the split single.
That’s all! So many words!
Trout swim past the fishing line,
