Guess what: We’re playing at the upcoming Collaborate Philly launch party at PhilaMOCA on Friday, July 27. You heard it here probably fourth or fifth, I think. But this is important.
Collaborate Philly is a new social networking site for the Philadelphia community launched by two of our great friends – Lindsey Colferai of the What’s Protocol blog and Matthew Marcinowski from Big School Records (which put out one of my favorite releases so far this year, Graham Repulski’s My Color Is Red 7″). These people are excellent, trust me.
We’ll also be playing with Eat Your Birthday Cake and our excellent friends The Chairman Dances, who put out one of the best albums of the year so far (and I’m not just saying that because I play lead guitar on it).
We’ve never played at PhilaMOCA though we’ve been dying to forever so we’re super psyched. Your smiling faces would be lovely to see in gallery space and all that.
I’m also told that there will be photography, local art and guest tables. None of those are ever at other Quelle Source shows, so this should be a lot of fun. Plus we’re planning on busting out some songs we haven’t done for a while.
Also important:
- It’s only $5, and
- It’s BYOB.
