So, our next show is an excellent one, like all of them.

This Wednesday, Oct. 10, we’re playing one of our favorite haunts, North Star Bar in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia.

That alone would be enough reason to come — the venue is less than one-tenth of a mile from our practice space. We could crawl there if we were masochists.

But, to sweeten the pot, we’re supporting an excellent band called Pujol, led by, of all people, Daniel Pujol. Pujol is signed to Saddle Creek Records, the home of Bright Eyes, The Rural Alberta Advantage, Land of Talk and more of our favorite bands ever.

We’ll be playing a collection of new songs we’ve been hammering out at practice and at shows, a couple oldies and a David Bowie cover in support of our upcoming set at Milkboy Philly as David Bowie on 10/26. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves.
